An Experiment in Arts and Creativity Education in Hong Kong: The Case of HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity

The creation of the HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity in 2006 itself is an experiment of creativity. It is within a strong tradition that stresses conformity instead of creativity, which is reinforced in a factory-like education structure. Given that, the founders of the school believe that school education can be different. This exciting case study reports how the school experiments its arts programme at the senior secondary level of schooling, and the possible meaning it may bring to the individual kidults and the system as a whole.
