Mrs Marina Guo is the co-founder and director of Shanghai Sunspirit Cultural Development Co., Ltd, which is a leading organization in cultural communication and arts education for children and young people. Being a practitioner of international cultural exchanges, Marina Guo has initiated and produced several ground-breaking pilot projects in performing arts and visual arts between China and Europe. Marina Guo is renowned as an active festival organizer and presenter of international collaboration in the culture & creative industry.

She holds a MA degree from the Shanghai Theatre Academy and a BA degree in Economics.

SYNOPSIS

Contemporary lifestyles and the process of globalization are undermining considerably the living cultures inherited through tradition.  It’s crucial to keep cultural diversity as well as distinctive cultural identity of one nation.  To achieve “Made in China” to “Created in China”, creativity and innovation are the key to avoid one homogenous in such globalization.

她持有經濟學學士及上海戲劇學院攻讀社會表演學碩士學位。 2004年創建上海天旭文化發展有限公司，致力於少年兒童文化藝術領域的資源整合、文化傳播及產業鏈開發。宣導“戲劇推進教育，藝術助力成長”的全新理念， 負責多項藝術節的創意和組織，推動具有開拓性的中歐合作專案，是國際文化交流活動的實踐者，也是藝術教育和推廣的先行者。
