Professor Abuelgassim Gor is a Sudanese Drama for Peace Culture Specialist. In 1986, he graduated from the Department of Theatre Studies and Criticism , Collage of Music and Drama at the Sudan University of Science & Technology. Prof Gor, who had been promoted to Associate Professor, has been working as professor of  theater criticism studies since 1991. In 2000 he established the Center for Peace Culture at the Sudan University. In 2002, he established the Sudan center for Theatre Research, Culture & development. Professor Gor was a Visiting professor in a number of universities all over the world.

Peace Drama: Culture intervention for Grassroots Peace Building

The work aims at instilling a cultural awareness and at transforming people to facilitate progress and peace culture. To ensure that the next generation will be infused with the culture of peace, the Peace Drama model can be used to train primary school teachers on peace culture for use in their classrooms.
